Petrositis - what does this mean

Petrositis is a rare inflammatory disorder of the petrous bone, which is located at the base of the skull. it is caused by an infection from bacteria, viruses, or fungi, and is characterized by pain, fever, and swelling. it can also cause hearing loss, dizziness, and facial paralysis.

What happens during the disease - petrositis
