Apocrine miliaria - what does this mean

Apocrine miliaria is a condition in which sweat glands become blocked, leading to an accumulation of sweat within the glands and the formation of small, red, itchy bumps on the skin. these bumps usually occur in areas where apocrine glands are most active, such as the armpits, the groin, and the chest.

What happens during the disease - apocrine miliaria

Apocrine miliaria is a skin disorder caused by an obstruction of the sweat ducts. this obstruction prevents sweat from reaching the skin surface, leading to an accumulation of sweat in the sweat glands. this accumulation leads to inflammation and the formation of small, fluid-filled vesicles on the skin. these vesicles can break open, leading to further inflammation and the formation of papules and pustules.
