Shoulder pain

Shoulder pain can be a sharp, stabbing sensation or a dull ache. It can be localized to the shoulder or radiate down the arm. It can start suddenly or develop gradually over time. It can be caused by an injury, overuse, or a medical condition such as arthritis or bursitis. Symptoms can include tenderness, swelling, decreased range of motion, and weakness.
