Symptoms include headache, nausea, fatigue, dizziness, increased sensitivity to light and sound, dehydration, and difficulty concentrating. Hangover symptoms usually begin within a few hours after alcohol consumption, peak at around 24 hours, and can last up to 72 hours. The severity of hangover symptoms is determined by the amount and type of alcohol consumed.
