Saddle nose

Saddle nose is a deformity of the nasal bridge caused by a collapse of the nasal cartilages. It is characterized by a flattened, concave appearance of the nose, with a depression in the middle and a raised nasal tip. It can develop gradually or suddenly, depending on the cause. It is commonly caused by trauma, infection, or systemic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis or Wegener's granulomatosis. The severity of the deformity can vary, ranging from mild to severe.
