Hostility is a state of aggression and irritability that manifests itself through verbal and/or physical actions. It can range from mild annoyance to extreme rage and can be triggered by a variety of external and internal factors. It is often accompanied by feelings of anger, resentment, and frustration. Hostility can develop over time, or it can be sudden and intense. It can be expressed in a variety of ways, including verbal and physical aggression, sarcasm, and passive-aggressive behavior.
