Discharge from the urethra

Discharge from the urethra is a common symptom of urinary tract infections and sexually transmitted diseases. It is usually a thin, cloudy or milky fluid that is released from the opening of the urethra. It may be accompanied by a burning sensation during urination, painful intercourse, and increased frequency of urination. In some cases, the discharge may be bloody or purulent. The discharge may worsen over time if left untreated and can lead to other complications.
