Jaundice

Jaundice is a yellow discoloration of the skin, eyes, and mucous membranes caused by a buildup of bilirubin in the body. It usually develops gradually and is characterized by a yellowish tint to the skin, whites of the eyes, and mucous membranes. It can range from mild to severe, depending on the underlying cause. Symptoms may include yellow discoloration of the skin and eyes, dark urine, and pale-colored stools.
