Chilliness is a feeling of coldness accompanied by shivering, goosebumps, and a feeling of discomfort. It is usually caused by exposure to cold temperatures or a drop in body temperature. It can also be caused by certain medications, illnesses, or fear. Symptoms include shivering, chattering teeth, and a feeling of intense coldness. As the chilliness progresses, the body may become pale and clammy to the touch. Severe chilliness can lead to hypothermia if not treated promptly.
