Megavitamin-b 6 syndrome is a rare disorder caused by excessive intake of vitamin b6, typically from dietary supplements or medications. symptoms can include peripheral neuropathy, ataxia, confusion, cognitive impairment, and even seizures. the overabundance of vitamin b6 in the body causes an accumulation of pyridoxal-5’-phosphate (plp) in the brain, which leads to an increase in the activity of certain enzymes, resulting in the neurological symptoms.
