Hypermetropia - what does this mean

Hypermetropia, also known as farsightedness, is a refractive error in which the eye is unable to focus light from distant objects on the retina, resulting in blurred vision. it is caused by an eyeball that is too short, or by an irregularly shaped cornea, or by a lens that is too flat.

What happens during the disease - hypermetropia

Hypermetropia, also known as farsightedness, is a refractive error of the eye which results in difficulty focusing on objects close to the eye. it is caused by the eyeball being too short, or the cornea being too flat, which causes light to be focused behind the retina rather than directly on it. this results in blurred vision when trying to focus on objects at a close distance.
