Polyuria

Polyuria is a symptom of excessive urine output, usually greater than 2.5 liters per day. It is characterized by the need to urinate frequently and produce a large amount of urine each time. Polyuria can be caused by a variety of conditions, including diabetes, kidney disease, and certain medications. It can also be a sign of an underlying medical condition such as an infection or dehydration. Symptoms may include increased thirst, fatigue, and dark-colored urine. In some cases, polyuria can lead to dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, and other health complications.
