Facial distortion

Facial distortion is a symptom that causes the face to become misshapen. It is usually caused by muscle spasms in the face, which can cause the eyes to become asymmetrical, the mouth to become crooked, and the nostrils to flare. In more severe cases, the entire face can become distorted. It often develops gradually over time, but can also occur suddenly. It can be caused by a variety of conditions, including stroke, Bell's palsy, and multiple sclerosis.
